WHY
What's it about: Four boys fail their English GCSE and prep for a resit - the play brings to the forefront of the forgotten kids that "don't make it" and the their relationship with a support teacher tasked with getting them through it.
Why go? You most likely didn't struggle at school, and were spared the anxiety and uncertainty. This work channels it all - with a sense of togetherness. If you saw Chris Lilley's Jonah then this is the reality behind the laughs.
Who to take: School friend you've not seen for a while, or your sister.
WHERE
Location: Upstairs At The Gatehouse, Highgate Village, London N6 4BD
Closest tube: Archway or Highgate (Northern Lines - High Barnet Branch)
Best theatre snack: Tapas before, downstairs to the wonderful Gatehouse where Spanish food dominates.
Post show drink: A bottle of the Framingham Sav, a New Zealand gem.
